When Craigie & Moncreiffe fell into vacancy we were delighted that Bob Sloan agreed to postpone his retirement and to act as our Interim Moderator and Locum Minister. For the last 18 months he has guided and supported our Kirk Session and congregation as well as leading our worship in both churches.

When Bob intimated that he felt the time had come to stand down we fully understood his reasons for doing so but we knew we would miss his caring, relaxed and approachable style.

Bob is seen with his wife Christine and Session Clerk Cecilia Higgins accepting a gift from the congregation to thank him for his service and to wish him a long and happy retirement. We hope we will see Bob and Christine in Craigie & Moncreiffe Church in the not too distant future.
